What is the SEO Rank Tracker?
Keep a running history of where your keywords rank in Google without paying for a subscription. Create a project for each website, add keywords with location and device tags, and record positions — by importing a Google Search Console performance export, by uploading a CSV from any rank checker, or by entering positions you have checked yourself.
The tracker turns those snapshots into trends: average position, a visibility score, top-3, top-10 and top-20 counts, biggest winners and losers, sparklines for every keyword and a detailed chart for the keyword you select. Data is stored privately in your browser, and you can back it up or move it to another device at any time.

Why track rankings at all?
Traffic and conversions tell you whether SEO is working; rankings tell you why. Tracking a focused set of commercial keywords shows which pages are gaining ground after an update, which ones are slipping and where a small push (from position 11 to the first page, or from 4 to the top 3) would bring the biggest traffic gain.
Average position versus real-time position
Google Search Console reports an average position across every search where your page appeared, including different locations and devices. A rank checker reports a single snapshot from one location. Both are useful: track Search Console averages for trends and use location-specific checks (or the Geo Ranking Heatmap) for local visibility.
How the visibility score works
Visibility estimates the share of clicks you capture across your tracked keywords, using typical click-through rates for each position. Position 1 contributes the most, positions beyond 20 contribute almost nothing. It is a better single number than average position because one keyword jumping from 90 to 60 does not distort it.

SEO Rank Tracker: frequently asked questions
Is this rank tracker free?
Yes. There are no limits on projects or keywords and no account is required.
Does it check Google rankings automatically?
Automated rank checking requires a paid SERP data provider. This tracker is built around free data sources instead: Google Search Console exports, CSVs from other tools, and manual checks. Each keyword has a one-click link to search Google with the right settings for a manual check.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser’s local storage on this device. It is never uploaded. Use Backup to download a file you can restore on another computer.
How do I export Search Console data?
In Google Search Console open Performance → Search results, set a date range, open the Queries tab and click Export → Download CSV. Upload the Queries.csv file to the tracker.
Can I share results with a client?
Yes. Export CSV, or open the SEO Ranking Report tool and import the project to create a branded, printable report.
